These terms apply to any video, photo or content production work booked with Videos By Chris (ABN 98 414 327 221, "I", "me", "my"). By engaging me for a project, whether through this website, email or Fiverr, you're agreeing to these terms.
I provide video editing, Meta ads and paid content creative, organic content, filming and photography, AI video and photo production, and coaching and content strategy. The exact scope, deliverables and price for your project are agreed before work starts, either on a scoping call or in writing.
I don't publish fixed pricing because the right price depends on the scope of the job. A real price is worked out with you directly, usually on a call, once I understand what you need. That quote stands for the scope discussed. Anything outside the agreed scope, extra revisions, a rush turnaround, a bigger concept build than what was quoted, is treated as additional work and quoted separately before I start on it.
Payment terms are confirmed with you at the time of booking. As a general rule, a deposit is required before work begins, with the balance due before final files are delivered, unless we've agreed otherwise in writing for a specific project or retainer arrangement. Late or non-payment may pause work on your project until it's resolved.
Each package includes a set number of revision rounds, confirmed at the scoping stage and reflected in the pricing shown on this site. Revisions beyond what's included, or changes that go beyond the original brief, are quoted and billed separately.
Turnaround times depend on the scope of the project and how quickly you respond at the review stages. A real timeline is confirmed with you at the start of each project, not promised upfront before the scope is known. Retainer clients get priority in the queue, but every project still gets a realistic, confirmed timeline.

Once a project is paid in full, ownership and usage rights to the final delivered files transfer to you for the purpose they were commissioned for. Raw project files, working files and unused takes remain mine unless we've agreed otherwise in writing. I retain the right to reuse any techniques, skills or general know-how developed while working on your project for other clients.
Unless you tell me otherwise in writing before or at the start of a project, I may display finished work in my portfolio, on this website, on social media and in other promotional material, and may reference your business name in that context. If you need a project kept confidential, let me know before work begins and I'll respect that.
If you need to cancel or pause a project after work has started, get in touch as early as possible. Any deposit paid covers time and resources already committed to your project and is generally non-refundable once work is underway. Where a project is cancelled before any work has started, I'll work out a fair outcome with you directly.
Footage, briefs, business information and other materials you share with me for a project are treated as confidential and used only for the purpose of delivering that project, unless you've given me permission to use them elsewhere (such as in my portfolio, as covered above).
I'll deliver the work to a professional standard and to the scope agreed. I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of delivered content, including how it performs once published (for example, ad results, view counts or engagement), which depend on factors outside my control such as platform algorithms, targeting and your own business context.
I may update these terms from time to time as the business evolves. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continuing to engage me for work after an update means you accept the current version.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
