Overview

Videos By Chris (ABN 98 414 327 221, "I", "me", "my") provides video, photo and AI content production services to businesses in Australia and internationally. This policy explains what personal information I collect through this website, why I collect it, and what I do with it.

I run this as a solo operation. I don't have a marketing team or a data department, and I don't sell, rent or trade your information to anyone. This policy is written in plain language for that reason.

Information I Collect

I collect information you provide directly, mainly through the contact form or by emailing me. This typically includes:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your business name or website, if you provide one
• Details about the project you're enquiring about
• Any files, footage, briefs or links you send me as part of a project

I don't run analytics tracking or advertising pixels on this site at this stage. If that changes, for example if I add a Meta or Google ads pixel to measure ad performance, I'll update this policy to reflect it.

How I Use Your Information

I use the information you provide to:

• Reply to your enquiry and discuss your project
• Prepare quotes and scope work
• Deliver the video, photo or content production services you've engaged me for
• Keep basic business records for invoicing and tax purposes

I don't use your information for anything beyond what's needed to run the project you've engaged me for, and I don't add you to a marketing list without asking first.

Third-Party Services

This website and my workflow rely on a small number of third-party services to function:

• Web3Forms, which handles submissions from the contact form on this site and forwards them to my inbox. Web3Forms processes the information you submit in order to deliver it to me; it doesn't appear on this site's own servers.
• YouTube, used to host and embed portfolio videos on this site. Loading a YouTube video may set cookies from YouTube/Google in your browser, governed by Google's own privacy policy.
• Fiverr, where some of my client work is sourced and delivered. If you engage me through Fiverr, your information is also subject to Fiverr's own privacy policy.

Cookies

This site doesn't use its own tracking or analytics cookies. Embedded YouTube videos may set third-party cookies when played, which is standard behaviour for YouTube's embed player and outside my control.

Data Storage and Security

Enquiry details and project files are stored in my business email and file storage, protected by standard account security (passwords, two-factor authentication where available). I keep client information only as long as it's needed for the project and reasonable record-keeping, and I don't keep raw footage or files longer than necessary once a project is delivered and closed out.

Your Rights

You can ask me at any time to:

• Tell you what information I hold about you
• Correct or update that information
• Delete your information, where I'm not required to keep it for legal or record-keeping reasons

Children's Privacy

This site and my services are intended for business use and aren't directed at children. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
