The Mex - Mexican Restaurant Promo

The Mex is a Mexican (Tex-Mex) bar and restaurant in Ocean Grove, with a full bar, a dining area, and an outdoor space for live music.

The video needed to show off a typical Friday night at The Mex, when they run live music, as organic content for their own social channels.

I shot and edited this video myself, covering the bar, the restaurant, the outdoor live-music area, and the kitchen, along with sound design, music selection and audio cleanup.

The video moves through the kitchen as the food is being cooked, the restaurant's Tex-Mex theming and decor, a run through the cocktail menu, and the custom house-made chilli sauces on display, before landing on the Friday night live music itself, with customers dancing and drinking in the outdoor area.
