The Client
Pockets Bar is a nightclub venue. This video is an after-movie recap of a live DJ set by Bread Gang, now a large YouTube creator group, performing at the venue.
The Goal
This is an after-movie the venue ran as organic content on their own social channels, not a paid ad.
What I Delivered
I shot and edited this myself. I used to work as Pockets' in-house photographer and videographer, filming this kind of content regularly most Saturday nights, this was one of many. Fast-paced transitions, effects and music selection cut to match the set's energy.
The Story
It opens on a "shoey," an Australian party tradition of chugging a drink poured into a shoe, as the hook, then follows Bread Gang's live set with fast, high-energy editing.
